I believe in a fair and transparent pricing model, allowing you to test every feature without commitment. That’s why the full version of GainSync will be available for a 30-day trial with no registration required. If you will want to keep using the software after the trial, you will be able to purchase the full version for around 14.99€, and you’ll receive updates for free.
GainSync analyzes each track’s structure to identify its most intense parts, often called drops. Loudness of these parts is then measured using LUFS units, which are designed to match the way our ears perceive it. GainSync then uses this information to adjust levels of individual tracks, making sure that during your DJ set, they all hit equally loud in their loudest sections.
This approach is different from the classic normalization used by other software, which typically calculates loudness as the RMS average of the entire track. That method is imprecise, causing tracks with long quiet sections to have louder drops than those with less dynamic range. Additionally, it doesn't account for the subjective nature of human hearing, leading to even less accurate loudness normalization.
Yes, just make sure to disable any autogain feature in your DJ software, as it could interfere with the levels already adjusted by GainSync. After that, you can set your gain knobs to the same values and won’t need to adjust them again, as long as you are playing tracks normalized by GainSync.
Yes, GainSync can normalize tracks that are already exported to a USB flash drive. To do this, simply click the 'Sync Tracks on Flash Drive' button, select your flash drive, and proceed. GainSync will then apply level adjustments to the already existing files, ensuring that your playlist is gain-synced and ready for the club.
GainSync supports WAV and MP3 files, and it also allows you to customize the export format. Your track metadata remains unchanged.
